community cartooning workshops

G'day everyone,

*Funnyworks Oz* is a community focused service that provides positive life skill and goal oriented *cartooning workshops* throughout the ACT through
the* "Quick Draw Program".* This program is facilitated by a cartoonist
with an extensive community worker background providing lots of different themed sessions for those supported in the community as well as support services and staff.

Workshops include:

Create A Cartoon Character
Caricaturing
Strengths To Goals
My Own Super Hero
"I See You See" (Body Image)
Active Life
You Are What You Eat
What Animal Am I?
Dreams
Story Telling...........and many more interactive themes!

What makes these sessions unique is the use of the '*Quick Draw'
technique* (speed
drawing as people talk/describe a situation) with a strong focus on humour and engagement. This can have very strong impact on a group - particularly in retaining information through involvement and enjoyment.


*Funnyworks Oz* also captures thoughts and ideas for *service planning days* , *conferences and forums *through Quick Draw technique. A creative way to record your conference's ideas and aspirations which you get to keep for your records - an imaginative form of information gathering to make your day memorable!
