Do your clients need $500 to help with school costs?
Saver Plus is a program is designed for people on lower incomes who have children in Preschool - Year 12 or who are themselves studying at CIT / Uni / Apprenticeship
We support a family to save up to $500 over the course of 10 months by making regular (habitual) deposits into a reward incentive account with no monthly service fees. During this time, a participant also attends 4 discussion-focused financial education workshops that I run at The Smith Family. At the completion of the 10 month program, the participant is matched the same amount that they've saved up to $500 to be used for their nominated educational expense(s).
How it works:
A family will agree to a savings period and a goal ($500 is most common) to use on education expenses. They then make regular deposits into their own savings account over 10 months to meet that goal. During this time, the participant will also attend 4 (free) Money Minded financial education workshops that are run by The Smith Family. At the end of the 10 month savings period we will match the participant's savings dollar-for-dollar up to $500. The $500 that we give a family is to be used for their nominated education expense(s), but the $500 they saved can be used for any purpose they choose.

In order to participate in the program a participant must:
