‘Links to Learning’ Volunteer Tutor Evening: 23 June 5.30pm -7.00pm

Southside Community Services have recently recommenced our 'Links to Learning' program. 'Links to Learning' is a volunteer tutoring program available to adults living in the Canberra region who would like to develop their literacy or numeracy skills. To re-launch the program we are hosting a "Meet and Greet" evening for existing, new and potential Volunteer Tutors.

Time: 5:30 – 7:00pm
Day: Monday 23rd June 2014
Where: Southside Community Services, 63 Boolimba Crescent, Narrabundah

To be a Volunteer Tutor you will require a high level oral and written English and good Numeracy Skills. The evening will provide an opportunity for you to understand a bit more about the role, hear about updates to requirements for Volunteer Tutors, receive your Volunteer Tutor packs (new tutors) and meet other like-minded individuals.
Light refreshments will be provided. Please advise if you will be able to attend for catering purposes.
