Update on the Mental Health (Treatment and Care) Amendment Bill

How will the proposed provisions of the Mental Health (Treatment and Care) Amendment Bill impact on carers?

Carers are strongly encouraged to attend this forum to learn how the proposed provisions in the Mental Health Amendment Bill will support engagement between mental health services and carers, carer input to treatment planning and access to information about treatment. The Amendment Bill has been tabled in the Legislative Assembly and will be debated later this year.
