This full day accredited training session provides participants with an understanding of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) legislative context for reporting abuse and neglect together with the responsibilities and ethical obligations for Mandated Reporters. Topics covered;


· Supporting Child Protection

· Indicators of possible harm and neglect

· Nurturing practices

· ACT legal requirements for reporting suspected cases of abuse or
neglect
