Marymead currently has a number of exciting and challenging positions available to support our Respite Program, After School and Holiday programs. To be successful in these roles you will bring enthusiasm and energy to our dynamic team and have a willingness to engage with young people.
The Respite Program incorporates short-term accommodation both on-site (cottage) and off-site (Kese Respite House), flexible respite options and assisting in community access opportunities. The After School and Holiday programs offer flexible, diverse and client-focused activities and support.
You will have the opportunity to work across a range of age groups (5 - 25 years) and within a number of different settings (family homes, short-term accommodation settings, daily respite in a community setting or after school or holiday program) within the ACT.
Marymead's Disability Respite Program recognises and respects the uniqueness of individuals and their families and strives to support and build support networks and greater independence.
This is an opportunity to work closely with clients in a committed and energetic team, for an organisation that provides a high level of support for practice - supervision, professional development and staff scholarships (for permanent employees).
