Self-Advocacy and Human Rights Course for people with disabilities

Advocacy for Inclusion is holding a Self-Advocacy and Human Rights Course for people with disabilities.

We have limited spaces left, so please pass this onto your consumers.  The course is FREE to people with a disabilities. The details of the course are as following;

Come and join us for a self-advocacy & human rights course
and learn more about your rights
Where:
SHFPACT Offices Level One, 28 University Avenue, Canberra, ACT, 2601
You will need to provide your own transport
When:
5 weeks, 2 hours per week
Monday 1-3pm, Monday 29 June to 27 July 2015
Who:
You and your support worker if you need one
Classes are kept small, up to 6 people
What:
All course material is provided FREE.
Our courses teach self-advocacy skills, such as making decisions, having your say and setting goals. In this course we focus on your rights and how you can make sure they aren't taken away from you. This course is designed for people with disabilities.
