GRCS has currently vacancies for the Links for Life Program which is a skill development program for young people with intellectual disabilities who are currently not attending an ACT High School or College. The Program operates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9.30 and 2.30. From September onwards we will start operating on Mondays as well. Pick ups and drop off are available. We would appreciate it greatly if you could circulate this information among your networks. I’ve attached a copy of the September /October to give a better idea about the Program.

Centenary gift to Canberra kids
Centenary gift to Canberra kids: The initial concept plan for the ‘‘boundless’’ National Children’s Playground features a forest glade, embankment slide, a play sculpture including climbing wall and cubby, water play, sensory garden and a maze. However the community will get to have its say on the elements through a consultation phase. ACT Chief Minister Katy Gallagher announced $50,000 seed funding this morning for the project, which has been driven by volunteer public servants with private sector support. It will be accessible for children of all ages and abilities. Read more
