House with No Steps is a leading provider of quality residential,
employment and ancillary services to people with disabilities throughout
NSW, ACT and Queensland. We are committed to innovation, continuous

We are now recruiting Support Workers with experience, working with
people who experience significant disability and require high levels of
support, sometimes with behaviour that is confronting for others. You
will need to be available to work a variety of shifts.

Successful applicants will have a strong desire to support people to
live the lives they want to live, to achieve their goals and receive
individualised support. A professional disposition and good
communication skills are essential.

We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

* Certificate IV in Disability or minimum 4 years experience in
disability support work
* Proven ability to support people who may experience a range of
significant support needs which may result in behaviour that can at
times be confronting and require intensive assistance
* Demonstrated working knowledge and commitment to person
centred and individualised support practices
* Ability to look past people's complex needs and view each
individual for their personality and contribution
* To provide support which is respectful and upholds the rights
of individuals
* Identify personal skills & qualities you would bring to the
role which would enrich the lives of people we support
* To work effectively and productively within a small team
* A knowledge of and commitment to the Vision Mission and Values
of House with No Steps
* Proven initiative and problem solving skills
* Current first aid certificate and Australian drivers licence
