Are you passionate about human rights? Can you tell a good story? Do you have an iPhone? The Australian Human Rights Commission is recruiting budding film-makers to create short videos about ordinary people taking extraordinary human rights actions. There are awesome prizes to be won, including JB HiFi vouchers and an iPad. You will create a published body of work with the Australian Human Rights Commission. We'll provide you with a free one-day training workshop in Sydney with the digital storytelling specialists Curious Works. But first, you'll need to create a short video to enter. You don't have to be Steven Spielberg--you can film using just your iPhone--but we're looking for authentic stories from your community; stories that might inspire others to take human rights action. Want to know more? Click here for the details Entries close 5pm, Wednesday 24 October 2012. So get cracking! --The Something In Common team. p.s. If this program isn't for you, maybe you know someone who might be interested? Just send them to Something In Common for details, or share it with them on Facebook and Twitter using the buttons below. | |||||||
