Friends--

Are you passionate about human rights? Can you tell a good story? Do you have an iPhone?

The Australian Human Rights Commission is recruiting budding film-makers to create short videos about ordinary people taking extraordinary human rights actions.

There are awesome prizes to be won, including JB HiFi vouchers and an iPad.

You will create a published body of work with the Australian Human Rights Commission. We'll provide you with a free one-day training workshop in Sydney with the digital storytelling specialists Curious Works. But first, you'll need to create a short video to enter.

You don't have to be Steven Spielberg--you can film using just your iPhone--but we're looking for authentic stories from your community; stories that might inspire others to take human rights action.

Entries close 5pm, Wednesday 24 October 2012.
