FAMILY CARERS MANAGING THEIR OWN DEPRESSION

FAMILY CARERS MANAGING THEIR OWN DEPRESSION Providing care for someone you
love can be rewarding, as well as extremely challenging and, at times
overwhelming. It is not unusual for the pressures and responsibilities, the
ongoing stress and the times of grief and sadness to move a carer into
depression. These sessions are designed to explore the complex
interconnectness between caring and depression and consider ways for carers
to find some perspective, manage their symptoms and triggers, stay connected
to support and keep well while balancing everyone's needs and "keeping all
the balls in the air".
