Learning Ways - social skills group

my 3 children have been attending this group since last year and absolutely love it - we highly recommend it for all kids who could do with a little social assistance!  the groups are free and run out of Gungahlin.

Learning Ways is a not for profit body established by 2010’s ACT Autism Week Awardee, Kara Potter, to provide assistance and support to children with disabilities and their families. Drawing from her own experience as a mother of two children with autism, Learning Ways is the realisation of a dream for its founder Kara who desired to establish safe places for children and families such as her own; places where they could be included, accepted, nurtured and empowered to continue as valued and respected members of their wider Canberra community. Through the assistance of professional therapists and teachers and using her own experience in community development and inclusive education, Kara ensures that research-based evidence is used to develop programmes and resources for Learning Ways.
