Dear Parent/Carer,

The Minister for School Education, Peter Garrett, invites you to a School Funding Forum in Canberra. He wants to hear the views of parents and carers about the recommendations of the Review of Funding for Schooling (known also as the Gonski report).

The Government released the report in February and is now talking with stakeholders across Australia about the report’s recommendations and the best way to implement them.

This forum will take place on Monday 2 April from 6.30-7.30pm in the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Theatrette, 50 Marcus Clarke St, Canberra. The event will also be live streamed via www.schoolfunding.gov.au.
