Room to Move: Inclusive Community Dance Workshop with Philip Piggin Sat Oct 27th

*Room To Move* Inclusive Community Dance & Movement


> Monthly inclusive (open to adults living with and without disability)

> community dance and movement theatre sessions with a focus on
> improvisational movement led by a variety of skilled and experienced
> dancers and movement artists.

> Workshops aim to create a positive learning environment rich with the
> creative possibilities each valued participant brings with them.
> Experience the freedom and joy of improvisation in a welcoming and
> supportive environment.

> No previous dance/ movement experience required. All skill levels
welcome.
> Come to as many or as few sessions as you wish.

>> understanding and techniques of working with other bodies in space.

challenging and fun!

>> After dance and education training in Australia, UK and New York,
>> Philip has worked in Australia, UK and Russia, and was Community
>> Dance Animateur in Wales, founding his own company, *Men Dancing*. On

>> returning to Australia he freelanced in the Albury-Wodonga region and

>> beyond, teaching, choreographing, performing, initiating and
>> directing a number of community and professional dance projects,
>> served on Hothouse Theatre's Artistic Directorate, Arts NSW Dance
>> Committee, the Australia Council Advisory groups and on various
regional arts and educational organisations.
