MY TIME HOLIDAY PLAYGROUPS for parents and carers of young children with developmental
delay, Autism, disability or chronic medical condition:
These groups are for parents and carers (including mums, dads, grandparents and the principal carer)
with children aged 0-12 with a disability or chronic medical condition.
Siblings (under 12) are very welcome. There will be a range of free and
structured play activities for children and their families/carers to have fun
together. These include sensory activities, music, gross and fine motor play
activities and stories.
My Time also gives parents and carers the chance to
socialise and share ideas with people in similar circumstances who can
understand their children’s achievements, help with the challenges, and find
out about available community support. You are welcome to come to one or all of
the days.
When: Monday 21 January 2013 - Friday 25 January 2013
Who: 0 - 12 years
Where: ACT Playgroups Playroom, Cook Community Hub, cnr Templeton & Ellis Sts, Cook (Entrance and parking off Ellis St)
Cost: free
