L'Arche Genesaret Inc is a faith community for people with and without
disabilities in Canberra and is part of a network of communities within
Australia and internationally. L'Arche aims to build and celebrate
relationships between people with and without an intellectual disability and
to foster the gifts of people with a disability (Core Members). L'Arche
Genesaret Inc currently maintains three houses and two self-contained flats
providing accommodation and support to 13 adults with low to moderate
intellectual disability.
L'Arche Genesaret is looking for an experienced and dynamic person to take
on the role of House Coordinator. This role is a key management position
that will support four people with a disability to create a rich home and
personal life. The House Coordinator plays a crucial role in bringing the
L'Arche vision to life in the daily lives of household members and is
responsible for the day-to-day management of the household.
The position is a minimum of 30hrs per week. Role description and selection
criteria is attached.
