Canberra Blog - By all means

By All Means is a family governed arrangement established in 2005. We consist of four families who have six adult children with disabilities. All families involved share the same passion to ensure that their family members who have a disability are included as active and valued members in their local community.

By All Means employs a part-time coordinator, funded by Disability ACT. Woden Community Services kindly act as host agency and administrator. Family Governance provides the families with the authority to create a vision of a good life, have optimal influence over the individuals funding and choose the support required.

Our core value is that people with a disability are entitled to a lifestyle which is based on the same rights and opportunities as other citizens, regardless of type or degree of disability. We strive to make this a reality for our family members.
