Milly, Molly is a series of New Zealand children's books by Gill Pittar. They are about the adventures of two little girls from different ethnic backgrounds, and they promote the acceptance of diversity and the learning of life skills. There is an animated television series based on the books.
In this episode Ellie, a blind girl, visits from her school for the blind, to see if she can attend mainstream school.
hrmmmmmm what do you think of this? (10 mins long). I like the idea and there are some nice moments in it but I'm not convinced it is sending the right message talking about whether Ellie was "allowed" to attend mainstream school, and especially talking about how she might have to remain at the blind school while the bully got away with it...
