Participants will;

Ø Develop a best practice understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and how an ASD might contribute to

challenging behaviours

Ø Develop and Individual ASD Profile

Ø Learn the key principles of how to create an ASD friendly environment

Ø Be guided to write their own autism specific Positive Behaviour Support Plan based on a chosen behaviour

Ø Learn step by step to write a Response Plan and respond confidently when challenging behaviour occurs

Ø Learn step by step how to Teach New Skills to promote communication, emotional regulation and independence
