About the program
A practical workshop to help community Board member whip themselves into
shape. Just as every Board needs to assess and improve its own
effectiveness, every board or Committee member needs to keep and eye on
their own performance. This workshop will help you understand your legal,
financial and ethical responsibilities and assess and improve your
performance.
Target audience
This workshop is for management, board and committee member from ACT
sporting club, association and organisations.
What is covered in the program

* What we mean by 'leadership', in a community context
* Your key responsibilities as a Board member- legal, financial and
ethical
* How to assess your performance as a Board member
* How to troubleshoot lacklustre performance among others.
Payment
There is no cost to participate in this workshop.

* Location: Hellenic Club Woden, Matilda Street, Woden
* Time: 5:45pm for a 6pm start, workshop to conclude by 8pm (light
refreshment, tea and coffee will be provided)
