Gifted and Underachieving
Learn about why some bright children don't thrive at school. Why they struggle to transfer their creative complex thinking, knowledge and ideas into high academic achievement.
The workshop will provide practical ideas to assist these children including ideas of resources and how to identify the underlying reasons for the difficulties.

Presenter: Helen Dudeney MEd, COGE The AUSTRALIAN GIFTED SUPPORT CENTRE. Helen is a consultant and teacher with expertise in working with gifted children and has a special interest in the identification and needs of gifted visual spatial learners and others who are experiencing school based learning problems.
