'Building Resilience' Training
When: 8th August 2013 9.30am - 4.30pm
Where: Marymead - 255 Goyder Street, Narrabundah
Resilience is the capacity to manage change, as well as to bounce back
from losses, adversity and stress. For community workers, resilience
also represents a capacity for coping with the (often traumatic)
scenarios that we come into contact with. Steadfast Training specialises
in building resilience skills to cope with both everyday and unexpected
stresses and adversity. Their training programs promote stress
hardiness, emotional regulation, positive coping skills and managing
adversity.
Delivered by Ingrid Poulson, who is widely experienced in delivering
resilience training across both the public and private sectors, as well
as being a keynote speaker in demand and the author of RISE, this
training workshop aims to equip you with strategies and tools for
developing resilience in yourself and your clients.
