Disability ACT 2013 I-Day Grants now open

Good Morning All,

Please find below information concerning the 2013 round of International Day of People With Disabilities Grants , run by Disability ACT, which has just opened.


Disability ACT is pleased to announce the opportunity for community groups and organisations to apply for financial support, in the form of a once-only grant to assist in a program or event for the International Day of People with Disabilities in 2013. The International Day of People with Disabilities (I-Day) is a United Nations sanctioned day. I-Day brings together people with disability, community organisations, businesses, individuals and all levels of government. I-Day unites people in the celebration and acknowledgement of the contributions, skills and achievements of people with disability .

Total funding available is $25,000.

Disability ACT will accept applications until 5.00pm Wednesday 14 August 2013 .
