Could you volunteer as the over night emergency contact atRoss Walker Lodge for a night or two?

Ross Walker Lodge - seeking volunteers during October-December 2013.

Ross Walker Lodge is an independent home for 5 adult residents with mild
disabilities, supported by the St Margaret's Uniting Church in Hackett.
Residents live independently in co-joined apartments and come together
for a shared meal time each evening.
During October-December, the live-in support person will take leave and
we are seeking volunteers to support residents during this period.
This is a great opportunity to support people with a disability in our
community and to continue to build their independent lives.

Volunteers do not need previous experience working in the disability
sector; however appropriate respect for the residents and the
independence of their lives within the community of the Lodge must be
appreciated.
We seek volunteers who can:
a). Be available to sleep over as the emergency support person between
7pm and 7am on any given night during Oct-Dec 2013. Accommodation is
available in a comfortable private room suitable for singles or couples.
b). Be available to assist residents with dinner preparation in the
Lodge kitchen, between 5-7pm on any given night during Oct-Dec 2013.

If you might be able to assist for either one night or on a regular
basis during this period, please contact:
