Softball D-League

The proposed D-League (disability league) would be played at the Hawker International Softball Centre on Saturday afternoons, commencing at 1:30pm.
The first half of the competition would start on Saturday, 19 October and run through until Saturday, 14 December. The second half of the season would resume on Saturday, 1 February and run through until the end of March.
We would be looking at a skills and drills league for this group of athletes. This would see all players work on set skills for the first 30 minutes of our session, before having a ten minute break and playing a game for the remaining 45 minutes.
I believe that this would be the best way of introducing everybody to the game in general and will be the best way of developing key skills rather than just throwing the players in to fend for themselves.
The cost for the 20 week program would be $200 (includes playing shirt, cap and glove).
If you are interested in playing and developing your skills, please let me know so that I can start determining the number of teams etc that will be competing. Please also let me know your t-shirt size so that we can make sure that we have a t-shirt waiting for you at the start of the program!
Please contact me directly if you require any further information.
