Distance education in the ACT (primary level)
Doing some research for our family and thought
there may be others who would be interested in this information.
Distance Ed is available out of Queanbeyan to both NSW residents, and
ACT residents (at the discretion of DET). it can be done as home schooling, part time schooling etc. Students with autism and other learning difficulties are eligible.

I spoke to Vicki on 6299 2966. she assured me that any students who are
in the program do receive an individualised program that caters to
their needs and is challenging enough or aiming to catch them up where
needed
unfortunately it's not as easy as just applying for it - it's only done for us canberrans at the discretion of DET.
to find out more contact Linda Tooth 6205 9301 (DET liaison)
