About the Presenter:

Genevieve is an Associate Professor at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Cognition and its Disorders and the Department of Cognitive Science at Macquarie University. Her research investigates why some children struggle to the extent that they do, and also some of the potential causes and treatments for children with reading and language impairments. Genevieve is interested in the causes of dyslexia and Specific Language Impairment as well as the ways in which these conditions should be treated.
