DEALING WITH DOCTORS AND OTHER HEALTH PROVIDERS - A COURSE FOR FAMILY
CARERS*
CIT SKILLS FOR CARERS PROGRAM and ALZHEIMER'S AUSTRALIA ACT are
presenting this session to allow carers to discuss issues they may have
in relation to dealing with health providers. This may include:
* not knowing what to ask;
* how to get sufficient information;
* speaking up when feeling powerless or not being listened to;
etc.
Options will be provided to help you manage these and other situations.
Facilitator: Kay Millburn has extensive professional experience in
nursing, aged care and dementia, and is a family carer.
