Quest Training Solutions is offering the Diploma of Disability with VET FEE-HELP - STUDY NOW PAY LATER

Quest Training Solutions is now an approved provider for VET FEE Help. The Diploma of Disability (+ Business, Management and Business Administration) courses are approved for VET FEE-HELP. Students enrolling in these courses may be eligible to apply for the Australian Government's VET FEE-HELP loan scheme.

WHAT IS VET FEE-HELP?

VET FEE-HELP is available to assist eligible students studying higher level vocational education and training (VET) qualifications to pay their tuition fees. VET FEE-HELP is an extension of FEE-HELP, part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). In 2013, eligible students could borrow up to $93,204 for most courses and $116,507 for medicine, dentistry and veterinary science courses that lead to registration as practitioners in those fields. The VET FEE-HELP limit is indexed on 1 January each year (as measured by the CPI index). A 20% loan fee applies to VET FEE-HELP loans and the VET FEE-HELP limit does not include the loan fee. You repay your HELP debt through the Australian taxation system once your income reaches a threshold level, which for 2013–14 is $51,309.

WHAT IS THE DIPLOMA OF DISABILITY?

This qualification covers workers who are responsible for the coordination and management of agencies delivering services to people with a disability.

Workers in this role:
· Are usually also involved in service delivery, either direct client work and/or community development projects
· Have responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers.

· Case manager
· Program/service coordinator
· Client service assessor
· Senior disability worker
· Coordinator
· Support facilitator
· Local area coordinator
