Club 12/25 July School Holiday Program

The July School Holidays are coming up very soon. YEP, Youth Connections,
The Junction, Y.ENGAGE, Northside Community Service and Anglicare have
partnered up with a few other organisations to create a holiday program for
young people aged 12 - 25 years. The program consists of both centre based
activities at Club 12/25 and excursions. Permission notes are required for
any excursions. Please see below for a basic program outline.

WEEK 1

Monday 7th July -
Out of this world art (making scarves) and pizza eating in YEP @ Club 12/25

Tuesday 8th July -
Drop in and healthy cooking @ Club 12/25
>From 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Join in on cooking from 3:00pm

Wednesday 9th July -
EXCURSION: Street Soccer
>From 1:30pm to 4:00pm
Meet @ Club 12/25. Program finishes at Reid Oval.

The Club 12/25 July School Holiday Program operates Monday to Friday both
weeks of the July School Holidays 2014. The operating date range is Monday
7th July to Friday 18th July.

The Drop-In space will have one off activities on offer while also offering
regular activities such as pool (8 ball), table tennis, fuse ball, access to
computers, x-box, reading, food and access to the skate park and basket ball
court. In addition to the Drop-In opening hours, there are four excursions.
These require a booking and returned permission slip as there are limited
places available. Two excursions also have age restrictions so please be
aware of that when booking.

The Club 12/25 July School Holiday Program is offered by the following
programs:

* The Junction Youth Health Service - The Junction Youth Health Service is a
free primary health care and support service for young people aged 12 - 25
years and their children. The Junction supports young people in all aspects
of their health and wellbeing. The Junction is based on the second floor of
Club 12/25.

* YEP - The Youth Education Program (YEP) provides an opportunity for young
people aged 15 - 19 years to gain their Year 10 and Year 12 equivalent
certificates by way of completing the certificate II in Access 10. YEP is
based on the first floor of Club 12/25.

* Youth Connections - Anglicare ACT Youth Connections Program is a support
service for young people 12 - 18 years experiencing barriers to education
and who reside in the ACT. The Program offers flexible and individualised
support to assist young people to remain engaged in education or to
re-engage with education, training and/or community.

* Y.ENGAGE - Y.ENAGAE is a youth engagement and outreach service for the
Inner North and Gungahlin Regions of the ACT. Youth Engagement occurs at the
ground level of Club 12/25 in Civic. Y.ENAGE aim to connect with young
people 12 - 25 years out in their community and endeavours to bring support
to them.

School Holiday Program Information
Cost, Permission Slips and Bookings: All activities in the holiday program
are free of charge. Excursions require permission slips be returned to
confirm bookings as there are limited places. See timetable for contact
details of who to speak to regarding excursions.
Transport: Is provided for all excursions. People will need to arrange their
own transport prior to and after activities. Club 12/25 is walking distance
to the bus interchange.
