Free Training in Hair and Beauty from CIT

Learn how to confidently work within a busy salon environment with FREE training in hair and beauty at CIT.
Gain the skills to:
· wash, dry and shape hair
· sell makeup and skin care products to the public
· communicate with clients about their needs and wants
· perform head, neck and shoulder massages
· work in a busy salon environment
This training also provides pathways to further study in the Certificate II in Hair (SIH20111) and Certificate III in Beauty (SIB30110).
Cost: FREE
Starting: Friday 1 August – Friday 26 September 2014 (Nine Friday sessions from 9am to 12pm) You will be enrolled in:

- 2 units from the Certificate III in Beauty SIB30110
- 2 units from the Certificate II in Hairdressing SIH20111 and
- 2 units from the Certificate II in Skills for Work and
Vocational Pathways FSK20113 to provide additional language, numeracy, literacy and digital skills within a small classroom environment.

Training is fully funded by the 2014 ACT Government Adult Community
(ACE) grants program.
