Northside Community Service is currently seeking applications from highly
motivated candidates to fill the position of a Transport Driver to work on a
casual basis. The successful candidate will work within the Aged &
Disability team who are dedicated to providing exceptional services for the
frail aged and disabled residents of the Inner North of Canberra to support
them to live independently in our community.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Home Support & Transport, the main duties of
this position will be:
* Transport frail aged and younger people with disabilities to and
from social and medical appointments.
* Participate in our social groups when providing transport for
group members with a genuine interest in keeping clients involved.
* Provide feedback to the Team Leader, Home Support and Transport
Services concerning clients who may require additional assistance.
* Collect fees, maintain records and transport data as required.
