This workshop will provide participants with knowledge and skills to interact effectively with people with both a disability such as Down Syndrome and dementia.
Participants will gain an understanding of how dementia affects the person with a disability. Develop the skills required to communicate with people with the dual diagnosis and respond to changes over time.
Suitable for anyone working in disability services or community care that may need to interact with people with both a disability and dementia.
