Cartooning courses at BAC

Learn to create your own cartoon character and techniques of cartooning and caricaturing!

*'Funnyworks Oz*' is providing early evening classes* "Creative Cartooning and Caricaturing" at Belconnen Arts Centre* for young to older adult beginners for term 4 beginning Thursday 23rd October.

Courses run from 6 - 7.30pm over 8 weeks and are interactive, challenging and a heap of fun!

Costs for the eight week course is $200 or $30 per one off session - this includes all materials being provided.

This is a unique and entertaining course that enables you to bring out the cartoonist within!

Areas covered include:


- Create your own character including facial expressions, hands, body
shape and personality
- Learn techniques and styles of caricaturing
- Get your character talking (word balloons) and moving
- Cartoon backgrounds and shading
- Comic strip frames and placement
- Comic strip/gag writing, styles of humour and lots more........

'Funnyworks Oz*'* is also providing an *intermediate cartooning course* on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 7.30pm beginning October 21st. A bit more technical but not too hard teaching interesting and fun tricks of the trade including developing your character that one step further.
