Imagine More ‘Success in Transitions’ conference

Imagine More is pleased to announce that with the support of the ACT NDIS Taskforce it will make available 20 people to attend the Imagine More – Success in Transitions Conference – on 6th and 7th November 2014 at the Ann Harding Conference Centre, University Dr S, Bruce Canberra

Do you want to connect with people with disability, families, gain knowledge, confidence and skills? Then the Success in Transitions Conference is for you!

There will be a range of speakers including Dr Patrick Schwarz and Dr Bob Jackson and lots of others, talking about important topics such as:

The importance of friendships and freely given relationships

Potential focusing

A home of my own – moving out of the family home

Transitioning from early intervention/preschool/school – what support will you get?

Transitioning from high school and beyond...........and loads of other topics.

Sponsorship

Imagine More, with the support of the ACT NDIS Taskforce, is sponsoring the opportunity for people who would like to attend the conference but may otherwise experience a barrier in affording the registration fee.

This sponsorship will include the cost of the registration fee. Funds for travel, accommodation and support are not included in the sponsorship.

There are 20 places available for people with disability, including children; parents and siblings; and professionals. Preference will be given to people with disability and young families.

Your expression of interest should address the following 3 topics on a single page and be a maximum of 200 words.
