| With something for everyone, don't miss the Celebrate Gungahlin festival taking place on Saturday 11 April between 11am and 4pm. It will be a fun filled outing for the whole family -- activities include a birthday cake, competitions to win great cash prizes, jam-packed live entertainment, cartoon workshops with Michael Salmon, a community selfie, dancing, sports demonstrations by Gungahlin Giants and Sirens Cheerleaders, a colouring-in competition, children's entertainer Jonny Huckle, a children's area with kite making, face painting and much much more.
There will be a variety of stalls from food to fashion, with great show bags from Communities@Work's stall.
Don't forget to buy a raffle ticket on the day or beforehand at Gungahlin Community Centre, Tuggeranong Community Centre and where the trailer is currently on display at the Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club, with all proceeds going to Communities@Work's Social Programs. Tickets are sold for $5 each or 3 for $10 and can also be bought online. First prize is a trailer and cage filled with amazing gifts valued at $6,000, second prize is a $1,000 travel voucher courtesy of Gungahlin Flight Centre and third prize, a Samsung 10.5" tablet valued at $720 thanks to the Telstra Shop Gungahlin.
