FREE social activities during 2012 Mental Health Week

Connections Cartooning workshop

With the support of Volunteering ACT, ACT Health Directorate and
Community CPS, Connections is proud to announce we will be offering a
cartooning workshop as part of Mental Health Week 2012.

Andrew Hoare from FunnyWorksOz will be the facilitator for the
cartooning workshop. Participants will come together in a small group,
have a fantastic time and share many laughs from this interactive
cartooning workshop.

This workshop will take place in the Volunteering ACT training room, in
civic and a yummy catered lunch and individual certificates of
acknowledgement will be provided to each participant who attends on the
day.

Cost: Free to attend

Where: Volunteering ACT training room, level 2, 202 City Walk. Our
office is on City Walk next to the Merry-go-round. This is easy walking
distance from the civic interchange. ** The foyer to our building is
located between Ivan's fashion store (to your left when facing our
building) and the Westpac bank (to your right when facing our building).
You will see a lift in the foyer, once in the lift press "2" for
Connections (Volunteering ACT) on level 2.

When: FRIDAY 12 OCTOBER 2012

Time: 10:30am to 1:30pm

We can only have a small number of people attend this workshop so if you
are interested in attending or you know somebody who would like to
