A number of Direct Care Worker Positions available – casual/relief positions available – day, evening and weekend shifts available
Inanna Inc. is a Community Organisation committed to reducing homelessness in the ACT, assisting women with mental health issues, women escaping domestic violence and families at risk of homelessness. Inanna's community include women with mental health issues, women with disabilities, women and families with children experiencing the effects of violence and trauma, Indigenous women and their families.
You will have:
· An interest in helping others become independent · Awareness of the importance of respect towards others · Be prepared to work in a social justice framework · Non pathologising ideas about people managing problems in their lives
All applicants are required to hold a satisfactory Working With Vulnerable People registration card prior to commencing employment.
All applicants are required to hold a minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in the social/human/community services field, or be willing to obtain the qualification within an agreed period.
Salary: SCHADS Award 2010 Level 1-3. The range is to provide the opportunity to employ the person for the position having regard to experience and qualification level.
