The position
PaCE and Schools Disability Educator (25 hours per week - with the opportunity to build to a full time position)
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic team member to work as an educator in the PaCE and Schools Disability program.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, this position supports the delivery of a range of community education, health promotion and professional development training services delivered through the Professional and Community Education (PaCE) Program, and assists in ensuring the quality and consistency of organisational systems for professional development training programs provided by the organisation, including registration as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and other relevant accreditations.
This position also works as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of education, health promotion and professional development training services delivered through the Schools Disability Program in special education settings in the ACT, including individual and group education programs for primary and secondary students with disabilities in ACT Government schools, information and consultation support to teachers, Learning Support Assistants, parents and carers of students with disabilities, and professional development training services.
