ADVOCATE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND FRAIL OLDER PEOPLE POSITION
AVAILABLE
35 to 38 hrs per week
Pro-rata of $55,500 to $59,000 pa
(plus generous salary sacrifice opportunities and additional entitlement
days) ADACAS is a non-profit, community-based organisation that is dedicated
to providing advocacy for people with disabilities and people who are
ageing.

The position will predominately involve providing individual advocacy for
people with disabilities, frail older people living in the community and
people living with mental illness.

The successful applicant will have:

§ a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to social justice and
human rights for vulnerable people.

§ effective negotiation, communication and problem solving skills

§ strong relationship building skills;

§ a proven ability to understand and respond to complex situations.

§ experience in working with people with disabilities
