With funding from the ACT Government, we have expanded our program to provide loans to individuals earning up to approximately $60,000 gross per annum. The No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) provides those eligible to access loans to purchase items such as:
* white goods (fridges, washing machines, dryers, dishwasher)
* household items (oven, bedding, lounge, dining table, rugs etc)
* electronic goods (laptops/computers, televisions)
* tools for training courses
* health aids
* car repairs/ new tyres
* heating/cooling devices (portable or installed)
Loans of up to $1,500 are available and repayments are made over 12-18 months through direct debit. To be eligible for this scheme people must be a resident of the ACT and be on a low to moderate income and not be in financial hardship. (Please note - loans are for new items only and aren't available for rent or bills). For more information please call our office on 6257 1788 or email admin@carefcs.org or visit www.carefcs.org
